Waitara River Stopbank Upgrade

This contract is to build up the height of the stop bank and is the next stage for this work being carried out under contract to Taranaki Regional Council.
We have around 10,000 m3 of Taranaki Ash being transported from New Plymouth to Waitara to fill the stop bank to the new design level. There is Mass block retaining walls and some concrete steps to build as well for this contract.
Also a small road rebuild that leads to the Waitara Board riders club at the river mouth. This is a wonderful job to be undertaking in our home town and is a major safety feature for the residents of Waitara.
We are very proud to be involved in this contract.
The contract will run for around 10 to 12 weeks.

- Cat 321 excavator
- Cat 320 excavator
- Hamm 13 ton roller
- Saki 4 tonne roller
- Isuzu 6 wheel dump truck
- 2 x Isuzu Truck and Trailer bulk units
- 6 x staff members
