Highlands Intermediate-Car park relocation and realignment
Highlands Intermediate School
BSM Group of Architects
The project was raised with the aim of increasing car park facilities in the school compound and to realign one of the existing driveways to direct into the new car park.
The project involved removal of trees, grass and excavating to subgrade level for the cark park and the new driveway area. A new manhole, sump and storm water line was installed into the new carpark area. A concrete block wall and nib kerb was constructed as part of the garden area.
The work consisted of approximately 200m3 of bulk earthworks which were all done using our own CAT 314 excavator and Sakai 4ton double drum roller.
The work also involved construction of 140m long kerb and channel which were constructed with our own kerbing machine and concrete crew.
